About Us — Refresh Rate Test

Welcome to Refresh Rate Test. We built this tool with a simple mission: to provide an accurate, easy-to-use, and entirely private way to measure your monitor or screen's refresh rate.

Why We Built This

With the rise of high refresh rate displays in everything from gaming monitors to smartphones, it's increasingly important to verify that you're actually getting the performance you paid for. Operating system settings, faulty cables, or driver bugs can often cause a 144Hz or 240Hz screen to run at only 60Hz.

We noticed that many existing tools were cluttered with ads, required downloads, or were confusing to use. We wanted to create a clean, ad-free, and trustworthy alternative.

Our Philosophy

Accuracy: We use precise browser APIs to give you an honest reading of your screen's current refresh rate.
Privacy First: Your test results and device data never leave your browser. We don't upload anything to our servers.
Accessibility: Our tool works seamlessly across PCs, Macs, and mobile devices, without requiring any app installations.
